Join us in rural France for a Field to Fork food and photography experience, 19-23 June 2025.

We’re a bit giddy about this.

We’ve been invited to the beautiful Manoir Mouret, a stunning rural farmhouse in South West France (think vineyard, kitchen garden, swimming pool, famous nearby market - a film set, basically) to run a 4-day food and photography break.

Think of it as the most delicious French house party experience during which you learn to create mouth-watering, seasonal dishes & capture them beautifully on your phone.

Our hosts, Margaret and Jack, escaped the UK rat race a decade ago and moved to France where the have become pros at running retreats (and, just when you thought things couldn’t get any better, making wine as well) from their unfeasibly lovely farmhouse.

What shall we pack?

An appetite. Kathy will be showing guests how to create dishes inspired by the land around the farmhouse, and the produce from the farm. You’ll be able to get hands on with the cooking but we'll enjoy some supper club style meals on the terrace over a glass of local wine.

Your phone. Kirstie will be sharing her tips for documenting everything from the markets to the vineyards in an authentic style and taking great food photos on your phone. Kathy will be on hand to show you her food styling tricks.

Your chilled vibes. This isn’t all teaching. It’s about using cookery and photography as a way to reconnect with the landscape; to slow down and really drink it in (literally and figuratively).

Swimmies, SPF, walking shoes and a good book. We’re including plenty of time to relax by the pool, treat yourself to a massage or walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Cost: 1650€/person (Early Bird 1550€ until 30 November 2024)

  • 4 nights’ accommodation in single occupancy ensuite bedrooms

Transport to Manoir Mouret is not included.
