just herbs! and I think I might try lettuces. I just keep staring at the sad planters out there-they're filled with a lot of water from our last deluge of rain.
Thank you Kathy. I’m just emerging from a dark tunnel of Covid and your words cheered me up and inspired me to sow some beetroot (and salad leaves) too. Keep ‘em coming! Liz x
I'm so sorry you've been ill, Liz. It must be such a relief to be finally emerging. I was speaking to someone yesterday who had successfully germinated some salad leaves on a chilly windowsill this week and was about to plant them out. I reckon a sturdy variety would be worth a go. X
This brought me excitement just by reading your words, Kathy! Thank you.
What a lovely thing to say, thank you!
So glad Tamar Organics is still going! I knew them in their very early days :-)
They’re terrific aren’t they?
this is a reminder that i need to tend to the sad balcony pots on my fire escape.
Happy to nudge you towards the balcony! What are you growing, or planning to? I'm always amazed how many edibles you can grow in pots.
