Yay! Do you have any tips to clean them? My latest method is to chop them up and then do multiple water changes in a salad spinner and dry out at the end.
Well, I saw Jamie Oliver prep a leek on the TV and he had a nice trick where he cuts the green off then slices the leek lengthways (ie: top to bottom) but doesn't quite cut right through, then splays out the layers within and rinses it under a tap, taking care to point the top downwards so all the mud runs away from the white flesh.
